Going into their 4th year, Impact XM continues to leverage Meshh across multiple clients to granularly understand visitor behavior inside their activations. 

The Challenge

In 2025, Impact XM deploys sensors at various conferences and tradeshows for multiple clients to measure engagement in key product areas. Impact XM utilizes Meshh industry benchmarks to validate the success of their own events in addition to custom reporting to highlight the activation creative and layout accrue high engagement. Lastly, Impact XM measures the effectiveness of ancillary events and meeting rooms along with the product displays that yield high engagement overlap between the two areas.

Meshh sensors were deployed at more than 70 activations in 2024 across 10 different countries and over 5 different end customers. Each activation had sensors tagged at product areas, engagement touchpoints, meeting rooms, and satellite events. Meshh created custom analytics and reporting tailored to their clients KPIs. API access was provided for Impact XM to overlay Meshh data across other data sources in their own internal tools.

  • Product Engagement Analysis: Insight into the product areas and touchpoints that yield high engagement numbers and time spent. 
  • Meeting Room Validation: Understanding whether investment into satellite events and meeting rooms at conferences return higher engagement. Additionally, measure the product areas meeting room engagements were interested in. 
  • Behavioral Insights: Granular insight into visitor behavior such as first engagement analysis to show products with largest consumer excitement, path of travel to understand flow and improve booth orientation, and engagement overlap to product synergies. 
  • Industry Benchmarking: Comparative analysis across metrics such as dwell time, conversion rate, and repeat rate from activations from similar events and verticals. Benchmarking is leveraged to validate success of Impact XM activations. 
  • A/B Testing: Comparative analysis of different display formats revealed which setups yielded the highest engagement and stronger ROI.
